1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Cordially Invited Australia. We specialise in custom wedding and event stationery and signage designed to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between you (“the Client”, “you”, or “your”) and Cordially Invited Australia (“we”, “us”, or “our”) when you purchase products, place a custom order, or engage our design services through our website or directly via invoice.

By placing an order, submitting payment, or approving a quote or design proof, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. DEFINITIONS

- Client / Customer refers to the individual or entity purchasing goods or services.
- Cordially Invited Australia refers to the registered business entity providing goods and services.
- Products refers to both physical and digital goods offered for sale. 
- Custom Orders refers to personalised design services, including bespoke stationery and signage. 
- Event Date refers to the date of your wedding or event.
- Proofs refers to digital design previews provided for approval prior to production.

3. ORDERS & ACCEPTANCE

Orders placed via our Shopify store are confirmed once full payment has been received at checkout.

Custom design orders require:

- an approved quotation, and
- payment of a 50% non-refundable deposit before design work commences. 

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion.

4. PRICING & QUOTES

All prices are listed in AUD and are subject to change without notice.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. If a quote expires and pricing has changed, updated pricing will apply.

5. PAYMENT TERMS

5.1 Online Store Orders

All Shopify purchases must be paid in full at the time of ordering.

5.2 Custom Orders

Custom orders are processed in two stages:

- 50% non-refundable deposit required to commence design work
- remaining 50% balance required prior to production 

No artwork will proceed to print until final payment has been received.

Invoices are issued via Shopify and must be paid through the provided payment link.

6. DESIGN PROCESS

Our standard design process typically includes:

- Product and design selected
- Order placed and payment completed
- Order confirmation emailed
- First design proof created
- Proofing and revisions
- Final approval
- Production commences
- Shipping or delivery

Our custom design process typically includes:

- Enquiry received
- Meeting scheduled for design concept
- Quotation emailed
- 50% Deposit payment required
- Design Creations
- Proofing and revisions
- Final approval
- Final payment
- Production commences
- Shipping or delivery

7. DESIGN REVISIONS

All design orders include up to four (4) rounds of design proofs.

Set designs are pre-designed templates, and only limited changes may be made to the existing design. The level of personalisation available will vary depending on the individual product.

Additional revisions or significant design changes beyond the included revisions may incur an additional design fee, charged at our discretion.

8. DESIGN PROOFS & APPROVAL

A digital proof will be provided for review prior to production. The first design proof will generally be provided within 3 business days of receiving your order and all required information.

It is the Client’s responsibility to carefully review all details including (but not limited to):

- Names
- Dates
- Spelling and grammar
- Colours
- Layout
- Addresses
- Event details

Final written approval confirms that all details are correct and authorises production to commence.

Once the design has been approved and production has commenced, no further changes can be made. Cordially Invited Australia is not responsible for errors or changes required after final approval.

9. PRODUCTION TIMEFRAMES

Production timeframes vary depending on the product type, design complexity, and the timing of proof approvals.

As a general guide:

- Standard production is approximately 2-3 weeks from final proof approval
- Customised products or larger orders may take longer and require up to 5+ weeks.

The estimated production timeframe will be confirmed with the Client via email.

Production time does not include shipping or delivery timeframes.

Delays in approvals or client communication may extend production timelines.

10. RUSH ORDERS

Rush orders may be accommodated subject to availability.

Rush orders are not guaranteed and must be requested prior to placing an order.

Where accepted, rush orders may incur a surcharge of up to 20% of the total order value.

11. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

11.1 Australia-Wide Shipping

We offer shipping Australia-wide via our chosen courier partners.

- Standard Shipping: $20 AUD
- Express Shipping: $30 AUD 

Shipping timeframes are separate from production timeframes and are provided as estimates only.

We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services once parcels have been dispatched.

11.2 Damaged or Lost Parcels

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with photographic evidence. All packages we send are wrapped thoroughly in either hex wrap, bubble wrap, appropriate sizes parcels/boxes and fragile tape to ensure it’s secure and safe for shipping. Any damages incurred during shipping will need to be raised via the courier service.

For lost parcels, we will assist in lodging an investigation with the courier service.

12. WEDDING VENUE DELIVERY (SOUTH AUSTRALIA ONLY)

Venue delivery within South Australia is available by prior arrangement only.

Delivery is arranged directly by the Client and is subject to availability.

Delivery fees vary depending on location, event date, timing, and access requirements, and will be quoted individually.

13. COLOUR & MATERIAL VARIATIONS

Colours displayed on screens may differ from printed results.

Slight variations in colour, texture, material, and finish are considered normal and are not classified as faults.

This applies to all printed, cardstock, acrylic, timber, fabric, and specialty material products.

14. PERSONALISED PRODUCTS

Due to the custom nature of our products, all personalised items are made specifically for you and are not eligible for return or exchange for change of mind.

15. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED INFORMATION

The Client is responsible for ensuring all information supplied is accurate, including spelling, dates, names, addresses, and event details.

We are not responsible for errors approved by the Client.

16. DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Where digital products or downloads are offered, they will be licensed for personal use only unless otherwise stated.

Digital products may not be resold, shared, redistributed, or modified for resale purposes.

All digital purchases are final except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

17. CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES

Due to the personalised nature of our work, cancellations or changes may not be possible once work has commenced.

The 50% deposit for custom orders is non-refundable.

Once production has started and full amount has been made, the full order value is not refundable.

If an event is rescheduled, please contact us as soon as possible.

18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All designs, artwork, illustrations, layouts, templates, and creative concepts produced by Cordially Invited Australia remain the intellectual property of Cordially Invited Australia unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Purchasing a design does not transfer ownership or copyright.

Clients receive a licence to use the final product for personal event use only.

19. REUSE OF DESIGN CONCEPTS

Unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to commencement of work, Cordially Invited Australia reserves the right to reuse, adapt, modify, and incorporate design concepts, layouts, and creative elements into future collections, templates, or products.

Personal details and event-specific information will be removed or altered prior to reuse.

20. PORTFOLIO & MARKETING

Unless otherwise requested in writing, Cordially Invited Australia reserves the right to photograph and display completed work for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes.

Personal details will be removed or obscured where appropriate.

21. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, supplier delays, courier disruptions, or government restrictions.

22. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cordially Invited Australia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or services.

23. PRIVACY

We respect your privacy and handle all personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties except where required to fulfil your order or comply with legal obligations.

24. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.

25. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
